BEGINNER/ GENTLE YOGA
This class is for people who are new to yoga and to those who enjoy practicing simple movements to improve flexibility and build strength. You will be introduced to the foundational aspects of the practice in a low-pressure environment where you can ask questions and build your confidence on the mat.MANTRA, MEDITATION AND BREATHWORK
Explore beyond the physical practice and develop the subtle tools of yoga to complement your asana practice and enhance your everyday life. Chanting mantras, especially in a Sangha (yoga community), has the power to elevate our energy. Meditation is considered the heart of the yoga practice. When we learn to control our breath, we gain the ability to quiet the mind and find clarity. Join us for a journey inward, cultivating mindfulness, balance, and inner peace.RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative Yoga helps you to slow down and deeply relax your mind and body. A fantastic remedy for stress, the practice allows you to merge into a more parasympathetic state of being and experience deep rest. Using props and gentle postures, you will be supported in stillness for extended periods of time, allowing your muscles to release tension and your nervous system to settle. This practice is ideal for those looking to reduce stress, improve sleep, and find inner peace. No prior yoga experience is necessary, simply come ready to surrender and recharge.YIN
Practice stillness and develop connection with your internal world. Yin Yoga is a meditative style of yoga in which postures are predominantly floor based and typically held for 3-5 minutes, or more, applying moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body, with the aim of increasing circulation to the joints and increasing flexibility. It also aims to regulate the body’s flow of energy by stimulating the channels of the subtle body, known as the meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine or Nadis in Hatha Yoga. Yin can often help practitioners ‘un-stick’ the tightest parts of the body, but the mental and emotional benefits of this practice are not to be underestimated. -
ASHTANGA
The Ashtanga yoga method consists of a set series of postures which you will flow through with careful attention paid to breath, bandha (energetic practice) and the directed focus of the eyes and mind. The practice is challenging yet the sequence is so well balanced it feels deeply relaxing to practice. This class follows the framework of the Ashtanga Primary Series but may deviate from the traditional sequencing due to time constraints.ASHTANGA FUNDAMENTALS
Enjoy a condensed version of the Ashtanga Primary Series, focussing on just the fundamental poses of the sequence. This is the perfect introduction to Ashtanga!MORNING FLOW
Start your morning the right way with this nourishing class, designed especially to wake the body and get you ready for the day ahead. The teacher’s background and teaching style will define the exact content of the class but you can expect standing, balancing and seated postures.PILATES
Pilates emphasises controlled and precise movements that engage both the body and the mind, creating a holistic approach to physical fitness. It focuses on building core strength, flexibility, and body awareness while promoting proper posture and alignment.
VINYASA FLOW
Vinyasa Flow emphasises the synchronisation of movement and breath, leading to a meditative state of focus. Postures are usually held for 5 to 10 breaths and are joined together with flowing transitions. The teacher’s background and teaching style will define the exact content of the class but you can expect standing, balancing and seated postures, and relaxation to end the class. There are physical benefits of this practice such as strength, mobility and flexibility, moreover it can provide an amazing way to calm a busy mind and connect with a deeper part of yourself that can spark true self confidence and energy. -
