🤰 Tailored for Pregnancy: This course is thoughtfully crafted to cater to expectant mothers at any stage of their pregnancy, beginning at 12 weeks. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or brand new to the practice, these sessions are suitable for all levels.
✨ Holistic Themes: Each week, we explore a different theme to support you through your pregnancy journey. These themes guide our practice, providing a well-rounded and holistic approach to prenatal wellness.
🧘♀️ Gentle Yoga Poses: Experience adapted yoga poses specifically designed to accommodate your changing body and strengthen your pelvic floor. These movements are safe and effective for pregnant individuals, with modifications available to suit your experience and ability.
💨 Breathing Techniques: Learn and practice specialised breathing techniques to cultivate calmness and intuition, not only during pregnancy but also to prepare for labour.
😴 Guided Relaxation and Sleep Support: Explore relaxation techniques that aid in achieving restful nights and improving sleep quality, essential for expectant mothers.

This course is thoughtfully designed to support mothers in their postpartum journey, starting from 6 weeks post-vaginal birth and 12 weeks post-instrumental or caesarean birth. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, these sessions are suitable for all levels.

✨ Holistic Approach: Each week, we explore various postnatal themes to address your unique needs as a new mother. These themes guide our practice, providing a well-rounded and holistic approach to postpartum wellness.
🧘♀️ Postnatal Yoga: Experience gentle yoga movements specifically adapted to your postpartum body, helping you regain strength and alignment. These poses are safe and effective, with modifications available to suit your experience and comfort.
💨 Breathwork for Restoration: Learn and practice specialised postnatal breathwork techniques to restore your body, increase core strength, and support pelvic floor health.
👶 Bonding with Baby: Incorporate gentle baby yoga into the sessions to support your baby's development, including balance, coordination, and motor skills. Learn baby massage techniques to address digestive issues, improve sleep, and deepen your connection with your little one. You are encouraged to tend to your baby's needs throughout the class, including feeding, changing, and cuddling.

This course is designed to support mothers in their postpartum journey as their babies become more mobile.
🌟 5-week Course Highlights:
✨ Holistic Approach: Each week, we explore various postnatal themes to address your unique needs as a new mother. These themes guide our practice, providing a well-rounded and holistic approach to postpartum wellness.
🧘♀️ Mum and Active Baby Yoga: Designed for babies that are on the move! Aged approximately 8 months to 18 months. The class will offer you the opportunity to stretch out the aches and pains, connect with your breath, and continue working on your postnatal recovery. Gentle baby yoga is included, but there’s no pressure for babies to participate – they may enjoy watching you while they explore the room.
💨 Breathwork for Restoration: Learn and practice specialised postnatal breathwork techniques to restore your body, increase core strength, and support pelvic floor health.
💬 Community & Connection: We will have time to chat, stretch, and strengthen together as a community of parents. Whilst the course aims to support postnatal recovery, if you are a parent who hasn't given birth, you are still more than welcome to join, yoga is beneficial for all!

Carly is trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa but she specialises in Pregnancy, Postnatal and Mum & Baby yoga. She is also a mother of two herself and a Specialist Paediatric Nurse of 10 years with a postgraduate degree in Community Public Health. Carly’s intention through teaching is to create a space for calm connection with the breath, body and self. To provide a space that you feel safe to explore your body and feel reassured that wherever you are with your practice, is exactly the place you need to be. She will encourage you to be curious about your body and your breath, to be playful yet compassionate, to challenge yourself with kindness and to listen to your inner knowing, taking what you need from her guidance and leaving anything you don’t need behind. After all, it is your practice!

Having grown up with a yoga teacher mum, Anna has been around yoga and meditation practice most of her life. She became really dedicated to her personal practice in 2010 whilst at drama school, and completed her BWY 500-hour teacher training in 2019. Following the birth of her first child she completed further training with BWY to specialise in pregnancy yoga and this year following the arrival of baby number two has trained with Birthlight in Integrated Baby Massage and Yoga. Anna feels it is a great privilege to share her love of yoga with others and hopes to help other people find calm and balance both on and off the mat.
